Why Sand Training?
Sand training is great for the gap period between the end of club/school season and the beginning of summer camps and clinics. It helps the athlete stay physically fit while increasing their leg strength and overall awareness of court space. We encourage all our players to do sand training as a great way to keep their skills up and improve their overall conditioning.

2022 training sessions
Session 1 -Monday & Wednesdays
(May 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30, June 1)
Session 2 -Monday & Wednesdays
(June 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29)
Sand Courts @ Murray Park
Cost for each session : $240.00
Session Schedule:
5:30 - 7:00 PM -All Ages
Players will be evaluated and grouped by skill level.

Membership: Must have current USAV membership. It does not matter what club you play for or are associated with. Players that do not have a current USAV membership must register at Delta Region prior to attending any training session; select the Junior Summer Membership for $10.00.
*Must show USAV membership card at 1st practice.
Recommended Equipment: Sand Socks, Sunglasses, Sunscreen, Hat, towel and lots of Gatorade or water.

Tournaments: Players are encouraged to team up with another player to compete in beach tournaments but this is not a requirement of participating in sand training.
